Super Meteor 650

All of these accessories are backward compatible with the Astral and Interstellar models, and RE’s extensive accessory selection will provide potential Super Meteor 650 consumers with even more options for fine-tuning and customization. According to Royal Enfield, these prices are not introductory. Bookings for the Super Meteor 650 can be made as of right now, and deliveries will start on February 1.

The Royal Enfield Meteor 650 features an upright riding position, a tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, a chunky fender for the rear tire, a circular LED headlight (a first for any RE motorcycle), a round taillight, an old-school two-piece scalloped seat with no grabrails, and a prominently positioned twin-exhaust setup.

The Royal Enfield Meteor 650 expands on the design of the Meteor 350 and seems to be an older sister to the smaller cruiser. The Royal Enfield badging on the fuel tank has been redesigned and finished, and the cast-aluminum switch cubes (again, a first for any RE motorbike) are one of the features that add to the luxury appeal.

The new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 has 43 mm upside-down forks with 120 mm travel up front, a first for any RE motorcycle, and dual shock absorbers with 101 mm travel at the back. The front wheels are 19 inches in diameter, while the rear wheels are 16 inches in diameter. In terms of braking, the Super Meteor has a single 320 mm disc up front with a two-piston caliper and a 300 mm disc in the back. Dual-channel ABS is standard equipment. The motorbike weighs 241 kg and has a gasoline tank size of 15.7 liters.

The Super Meteor 650 receives an offset circular instrument console and the Meteor 350’s RE Tripper navigation pod. Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Grey, and Interstellar Green are the five color possibilities for the new Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 solo tourer model. The Super Meteor 650 Tourer, which comes in Celestial Red and Celestial Blue, is the big tourer model. The Grand Tourer package will include a number of extras, such as leatherette panniers, a tall windscreen, engine crash protectors, larger rear-view mirrors, and a pillion backrest.

Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 Engine Specs

The Super Meteor 650 is constructed on the same chassis as the 650 twins, but it uses a new tubular steel frame for a more relaxed and pleasant riding posture. The same 648 cc parallel-twin oil/air-cooled engine drives a six-speed transmission to power the motorbike. The engine produces a peak torque of 52.3 Nm at 5,650 rpm and 47 horsepower at 7,250 rpm, which is comparable to what the parallel-twin engines in the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 produce.
