Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) refreshed its stripped roadster, the 2022 Honda CB300R, in the country at a cost of ₹ 2.77 lakh (ex-display area Delhi), with a BS6 agreeable motor, minor restorative updates, and an upgraded highlights list. Displayed at the India Bike Week 2021, the new made in India, 2022 Honda CB300R will be retailed through the brand’s superior BigWing showroom organization. The invigorated Honda CB300R is presented in two colors – Matte Steel Black, and Pearl Spartan Red. Beforehand, the Honda CB300R used to be collected in India, and presently it’s privately created.
Chassis – The chassis has not been altered, and the bike retains the same frame, USD fork, and 7-step preload-adjustable mono-shock. The brake systems are also the same. However, the new bike has a little larger wheelbase than the previous model, measuring 1,352mm vs 1,344mm. Kerb weight has also been lowered by one kilogram to 146 kilograms.
Features – The 2022 model features nearly the same bodywork as the outgoing model, but Honda has made a few changes to give it a new look. New colors – Matte Steel Black and Pearl Spartan Red – have been added, as well as a gold finish on the fork and a blacked-out headlamp bezel and radiator shrouds.
Honda has also changed the style of the exhaust end can to give it a more sporty appearance. In terms of features, the bike receives complete LED lighting as well as a new LCD display with a gear position indication and shift light.
Engine & Motor – The 2022 CB300R is controlled by a BS-VI agreeable 286.01cc single-chamber, fluid-cooled engine. Power and torque have not been compromised and the bike actually delivers 30.7hp and 27.5Nm of max torque. This motor comes matched with a similar 6-speed transmission and with a slip and assists clutch.
The remainder of the pack continues as before also and the bike actually rides on 17-inch wheels. The suspension arrangement incorporates 41mm USD forks at the front and a 7-venture flexible mono-shock at the back. At the front is an enormous 296mm circle while a more modest 220mm disc takes of rear braking duties. The bike is fitted with double channel ABS and an IMU also. The shaded LCD instrument bunch shows a large group of significant data including speed, gear position, motor speed, and is the limit from there.
