2022 Honda CBR650R is now launched in India, starting price of 9.35 lakh

2022 India’s first inline 4 bikes launched in Honda two-wheeler division has had a strong start, and the company has now added a third model to its inventory. The new Honda CBR650R for 2022 has been released at a price of Rs 9.35 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2022 Honda CBR650R is essentially identical to the current model, save for minor aesthetic adjustments and new inserts, and its most apparent opponent remains the Kawasaki Ninja 650, which is priced at Rs 6.68 lakh (ex-showroom), Rs 2.67 lakh cheaper than the Honda.

2022 Honda CBR650R – Design

The majority of the adjustments to the CBR have been made to the appearance. Yes, the 2022 Honda CBR650R retains the same design as the previous model, but the graphics have been tweaked — the black inserts on the Grand Prix Red color scheme are now more prominent and run throughout the body, while the Matte Gunpowder Matte Black Metallic now has new orange inserts on certain body elements.

2022 Honda CB650R – Features and Equipment

In terms of equipment, the 2022 Honda CBR650R has the same set of features as previously. It has a completely digital instrument cluster with a gear position indication, engine temperature indicator, emergency stop signal, ignition security system, dual trip meters, digital clock, and other features. It also comes standard with dual-channel ABS and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC).

2022 Honda CBR650R – Engine and Chassis

The 649cc inline four-cylinder engine produces 85.8bhp at 12,000rpm and 57.5Nm of torque at 8500rpm in the 2022 Honda CBR650R, which is linked to a six-speed transmission. It’s built around a twin-tube steel frame that’s suspended by a Showa 41mm SFF huge piston fork up front and a 10-step preload-adjustable mono-shock in the back.

The 2022 CBR650R 310mm floating twin discs upfront with radially mounted four-piston calipers, as well as a 240mm single disc with a single-piston caliper. It also has cast-aluminum wheels with 180/55-ZR17 tires in the front and 120/70-ZR17 tires in the back.
