India’s upcoming cars for February 2023

The main carmaker in India, like Toyota, Citroen, Maruti Suzuki, and Hyundai, are all getting ready to introduce new products as well as updated versions of their greatest models in a range of segments. Below is a full list of all the vehicles that will be released in Feb 2023.

CNG-powered Maruti Suzuki Brezza

The Brezza will be the nation’s first CNG-powered car with an automatic transmission. The 1.5-liter K15C DualJet engine, which also powers the Ertiga and XL6, will be used to power it. It generates 100 horsepower and 136 torque in the MPVs, 88 horsepower, and 121.5 torque when it runs on CNG. In the Brezza, anticipate similar results. The Brezza will also come with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, in contrast to the Ertiga and XL6 CNG’s 5-speed manual transmission alone.

Hyundai Venue

The Venue makeover, which was first announced in June 2022, will now have a new diesel powerplant and an upgraded equipment list. The Creta’s 1.5-liter diesel engine, which produces 113 horsepower and has an integrated starting generator, will now power the Venue (ISG).

Toyota Innova Crysta diesel

Because of being discontinued by the automaker last year, the Toyota Innova Crysta is returning to the market. It is now only going to be offered with a diesel engine, and the company has started officially following orders for it. It will be offered with the Toyota Innova HyCross, which has both a gasoline and a hybrid drivetrain.

Minor changes will be made to the new Innova Crysta, including a redesigned grille and fog lamps on the front fascia. A 2.4-liter diesel engine that generates 148 horsepower and a maximum torque of 360 Nm powers the 2023 Innova Crysta. It is available with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Citroen eC3

The Citroen eC3, an all-electric variant of the C3 hatchback, will be the newest competitor in the EV hatchback market. The eC3 will also be exported by the French company, enhancing sales. The only visual differences between Citroen’s electric hatchback and its ICE-powered brother are the absence of exhaust and the installation of a charging station on the front fender. Instead of a gear lever inside, it now features a new drive selector. The eC3 features a 29.2 kWh battery with a 320 km range that has been approved by ARAI. Its front-mounted electric motor produces a maximum torque of 143Nm and 57hp.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx

The Fronx SUV coupe, based on the Baleno, is Maruti’s most recent small SUV. It will have a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol and a 1.2-liter gasoline engine choice. Both have a 5-speed manual transmission, however, the petrol has an AMT and the turbo-petrol has a 6-speed automatic. It will compete with the Citroen C3, Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite, and Renault Kiger and be offered through Nexa shops.

Lexus RX

The Lexus RX, which the automaker previewed at Auto Expo 2023, is scheduled to be on sale in February. It will be offered in the RX 350h Luxury and RX 500h F Sport Performance trim levels. It has a 2.5-liter turbo-petrol engine and a 2.4-liter turbo-petrol engine option, both of which have substantial hybrid aid. The latter is equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission, while the former is partnered with a CVT.
