Kia launch the Seltos X line at a starting price of 17.79 lakh

Kia Motors has officially released the new version of the Seltos X-Line. Prices start at 17.79 Lakhs (formerly a car dealership). The Korean automaker recently announced the final X-Line trim for its compact SUV and scrutinized their prices closely. The Seltos X-Line blends even more aggressively with the dark theme of a regular SUV with India’s first ‘Xclusive Matte Graphite’ paint, which offers an unusual touch. Only petrol and diesel versions with automatic transmission are available: G1.4 T-G Di7 DCT and D1.56 AT.

What’s going on?

Kia has given the Seltos X-Line various corrective moves up to give it its own character, like how Tata has managed its Dark release model. The greatest outside change is the new ‘Xclusive Matte Graphite’ paint, which is exceptional as no other model in the portion offers matte completion paint.

Furthermore, Kia has likewise given the X-Line an ‘Xclusive Piano dark’ (gleam dark) finish on the front and back slip plates, Outside Rear View Mirrors, shark-balance receiving wire, back end embellish, and artificial exhaust on the back guard.

These shine dark supplements go with ‘Sun Orange’ intonations on the pallet plates, side entryway enhancement, and focus covers of the wheels. Discussing the wheels, the X-Line wears a bigger arrangement of 18-inch amalgam wheels with a matte graphite finish. The ‘X-Line’ identification on the back end adds a further qualification between the new model and the remainder of the reach.

Interior and Equipment

Inside the Seltos X-Line, new Indigopera leather upholstery was found on the seats (with a new honeycomb pattern) and door cards. Apart from these changes, the equipment list remains unchanged from the previous High Line GT Line variant.

In short, the X-Line has a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay wireless connectivity, combined in-car technology, automatic weather control, ventilated front seats, and a sunroof.

Engine and Drivetrain

The new Seltos X-Line is mechanically the standard SUV. Kia offers the X-Line with engines 140 HP, 242 Nm, 1.4 L, turbo petrol and 115 HP, 250 Nm, 1.5 L turbo diesel. This engine is only available with an automatic transmission. That is, the petrol turbo is mated to a 7-speed DCT gearbox, while the diesel engine is equipped with a 6-speed automatic converter.
