Mercedes Benz S Class Indian Edition: what to expect
Mercedes-Benz S-Class India release: what to expect? Like some of the other Launch Edition models previously launched by Mercedes-Benz in India, the flagship S-Class will be equipped with a long list of equipment. Some of these kits may or may not be available as options for locally assembled models to be launched later. In appearance, the new S-class Launch Edition will use Mercedes’ new “Digital Light” LED headlights.
These units are said to be able to project symbols and patterns onto the road. Launch Edition will also be equipped with pop-up door handles, and more importantly, with rear-wheel steering. The latter should make luxury cars more flexible and easier to operate. Launch Editions will adopt the AMG Line style, giving the car a more sporty appearance through more aggressive design elements and alloy wheels.
Behind the steering wheel, you will see a 12.3-inch instrument display, as well as the new Mercedes 12.8. The vertical-inch touch screen occupies a large part of the center console. The new OLED touch screen will run Mercedes’ latest MBUX system (NTG7) and will also have facial, voice, and fingerprint recognition functions. In addition, like other MBUX-equipped Mercedes, the system will receive over-the-air (OTA) updates. The system will also be equipped with 320GB of storage space and 16GB of RAM.
In addition, 64-color active ambient lighting, Burmester 4D surround sound system, and front massage seats will also be unique to Launch Edition. The S-Class Launch Edition will be equipped with a bench seat in the second row, an external electric adjustable seat with massage function and adjustable leg rests, a driver package that allows passengers to adjust the passenger seat from the rear, behind the screen Row seat entertainment, a central tablet controller for various in-vehicle functions. Another unique feature of S-Class is that luxury cars will be equipped with front and rear airbags.
Mercedes Benz S Class Engine
The fully imported Mercedes-Benz S-Class Launch Edition will have two variants: 400d 4Matic diesel version and 450 4Matic gasoline version. S 400d will use the famous OM656 inline six-cylinder diesel engine for other large new Mercedes in India and will produce 326 horsepower and 700 Nm of amazing torque. The gasoline S 450 will also be equipped with an inline six-cylinder turbocharger, which can produce 362 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. All-wheel drive and 9-speed automatic transmission will be the standard configuration of these two variants.
Mercedes-Benz S-Class Color Edition
