MG Hector Blackstorm Edition Unveiled at Rs 21.25 Lakh!

MG Motor India has introduced the Hector Blackstorm Edition, a new model with a blacked-out exterior and interior. The Hector Blackstorm Edition is available in petrol and diesel engine types and is built on the second-from-top Sharp Pro trim. The Hector Blackstorm Edition is priced at Rs 25,000 more than the base trim and is available in 5-, 6-, and 7-seater versions. The Hector Blackstorm Edition follows the Gloster and Astor models in MG’s lineup.

What’s new about the MG Hector Blackstorm Edition?

The Hector Blackstorm Edition, as the name implies, is completed in a starry-black exterior color tone and replaces the chrome accents with a gun-metal finish accented with red highlights. This treatment continues to the grille, the MG emblem, the bumper line, the cladding at the base of the doors, the trim linking the rear taillights, and the false skid plates.

The headlights and taillights are also smoked out. The wing mirrors, headlight enclosure, and brake calipers are all highlighted in red as well. Meanwhile, the 18-inch alloy wheels and roof rails receive a new gloss black treatment. Customers may also acquire a ‘Blackstorm’ insignia on their front fenders for free at the showroom.

The Hector’s interior is entirely black, with gunmetal accents on the center console, AC vents, door trims, and steering wheel. The seats are likewise upholstered in black leatherette, with ‘Blackstorm’ imprinted on the front headrests.

The MG Hector Blackstorm Edition features:

The Hector Blackstorm Edition is based on the second-from-top Sharp Pro trim and includes a 14-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, digital driver’s display, LED projector headlamps, LED connected tail-lamps, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, push-button engine start/stop, and a smart key.

MG Hector Blackstorm Edition’s engine options:

The Hector Blackstorm Edition is offered in both petrol-CVT and diesel-MT powertrains. That means you may choose between a 143-hp, 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine with a CVT transmission or a 170-hp, 2.0-liter diesel engine with a 6-speed manual transmission. The Blackstorm treatment is available in 5-, 6-, and 7-seater variants, although the petrol-MT engine is excluded from this edition.
