Nissan X-Trail

Nissan India is set to double its portfolio with the introduction of the flagship X-Trail SUV. This 7-seater SUV will be brought in as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) and will compete with the Jeep Meridian, MG Gloster, Skoda Kodiaq, and Toyota Fortuner. Under the hood, the X-Trail features a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with variable compression, producing 163hp and 300Nm of torque. The power is transmitted to the front wheels via a CVT automatic gearbox.
Mahindra Thar Roxx

The Mahindra Thar Roxx, essentially a 5-door version of the Thar, has been in development for a few years and is finally ready to hit the market. This extended version will boast a longer wheelbase, revised suspension setup, and additional features compared to the 3-door variant. Tata Curvv

Tata Motors is all set to launch the Curvv, one of the first mass-market coupe-SUVs in India. It will serve as an alternative to midsize SUVs like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. The Curvv will be available with three engine options: a 120hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 115hp, 1.5-litre diesel, and a new 125hp, 225Nm 1.2-litre three-cylinder direct-injection turbo-petrol. A dual-clutch automatic option will be offered on all three engines.
Tata Curvv EV
The Curvv will also have a fully electric version offered with two battery packs: a new 55kWh unit and the 40.5kWh unit from Nexon LR. The Curvv EV could offer a range of up to 550km and will get the same equipment list as the Curvv, including a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a fully digital driver’s display, a segment-first powered tailgate with gesture function, a panoramic sunroof, reclining rear seat, ventilated front seats, and ADAS Level 2.
Citroen Basalt
Launch Date: August 2, 2024
Citroen is entering the mid-size SUV segment with the Basalt, based on the same platform as the Citroen C3 Aircross but with a unique approach. The Basalt forgoes the 5+2 seating layout for a more seductive exterior design with a coupe-like roofline. It will be powered by a 1.2L turbo-petrol engine and is expected to offer excellent ride quality at an attractive price point, albeit potentially sacrificing some features to keep costs down.
Lamborghini Urus SE

From Italy comes the Lamborghini Urus SE, the most powerful iteration of the sports SUV. Utilizing a twin-turbo V8 PHEV combination, the Urus SE can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds, making it 0.1 seconds faster than the Urus S. Mercedes-Benz GLC43 AMG Coupe

Sharing many elements with the updated GLC, the Coupe will be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 420 Hp and 500 Nm of torque, channeled through a 9-speed automatic transmission. The GLC43 Coupe can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.7 seconds, with a top speed limited to 250 kmph, offering a blend of performance and luxury.
